VOG-17 UAS Dropped Munition

The VOG-17 High Explosive 30 mm Grenade is a conventional ordnance item that has been adapted for use as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) dropped munition. This grenade has been modified for use as a drone-dropped bomb by disassembling the fuze and installing an improvised plunger assembly. A 3D-printed tail has also been added to ensure that the munition falls in a nose-down attitude after release from a UAS.

The VOG-17 UAS dropped munition is best employed to engage personnel, unarmored vehicles, and structures that have not been hardened.
