42 mm UAS Dropped Munition

The 42 mm High Explosive bomblet is a purpose-built ordnance item intended for use as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) dropped munition. The body of the bomblet is a cast-molded polymer with a custom machined impact inertia fuze. Ball bearings or other improvised fragmentation were commonly added to the explosive filler in the body of the bomblet.

The 42 mm UAS dropped munition is best employed to engage personnel and unarmored vehicles.
